Well I'm here alone this year - first new year alone that I can remember ever... but I'm not sad. I'm quite content. J is away visiting his dad in Scotland (I do miss him lots) - My man is away at sea and as long as he's safe then I'm happy. I turned down a couple of invites (and was jokingly called a miserable sod LOL) but I rather like this calm and happy feeling. I'm ready for 2010 and whatever it may throw at me, but have a feeling it's going to be a good one.

Happy New Year to everyone - hope your harvests are bountiful and your toils are rewarding.
