Muddy Witch
Has anyone heard from MW, I was wondering how her move plans were going, has she moved yet?

Our remote ancestors said to their mother Earth, "We are yours."
Modern humanity has said to Nature, "You are mine."
The Green Man has returned as the living face of the whole earth so that through his mouth we may say to the universe, "We are one."

She pm'd me just before Christmas. Can't imagine she's moved yet but is probably busy with family etc.

Our loch is half frozen! There are two bits that are still moving and there are huddles of ducks swimming in circles.
I think I'll stay indoors!

Re: Muddy Witch
It's rather odd here because whilst England is suffering from very cold weather and snow, we just across the channel are basking in overnight lows of 12C and yesterday's high was 15C.
It could have been nice if the sun had been out but it was windy, grey and drizzly so still like a dull winter's day.
And cold down south in NZ isn't unusual is it - when I stayed at the youth hostel in Invercargill in the middle of summer we had heating on in there as it was so cold!
Well next stop down from there is the Antarctic.

Re: Muddy Witch
Thanks for your concern, folks.
Sadly we haven't moved yet. Methinks it should happen at some point in 2010, but its on hold for a bit due to a slight hic-up.

Re: Muddy Witch
That's rather sad MW our thoughts are with your youngest but may it lead to the joy of starting a new garden, maybe an isher might know of some where, ears to the ground folks.
Don't worry MW the move will happen, we only moved islands a few years back and we were determined no matter what the hiccup.
May the green and god gift you with every thing you need.

Re: Muddy Witch
Thank-you HG. She's moved back here 'till mid-March as she has exams.
Once she's settled in her own place we can restart our plans. To be brutally honest, we'll be happier knowing she's independant as we always suspected him of being a two-timing rat. (He kicked her out in late Nov, as his 'other' girlfriend was moving in and was pregnant!!!)

Yikes, poor kid.
She's well rid of him but I doubt that makes her feel any better.

Re: Muddy Witch
Thank-you all. I have passed your ISH-love onto her & she really appriciates it.
She's determined to do well in her exams so I'll keep you all posted on this. I think she'll do better just to spite him.
We've seen a lovely one bedroomed flat that is much nicer than his place, (and cheaper) so she's feeling much more possitive about life.
