I would actually love to trade only with goods, imagine if all of a sudden no one used cash. It could topple govenments, oil barrens ah we can dream....

Afraid that the bag company will only take cash.

 Cash does have its uses. Imagine transporting all that stuff you are bartering from one place to another - definitely more expensive and, ultimately, polluting, than a simple cash transfer!
Unless, of course, you limit your economic exchanges to everything you can do within walking distance. No bags, then. On the other hand, you won't need any bags, either, because there wouldn't be that much to carry around!

Ah yes sorry shoudl have ketp you all informed there has been a bit of a delay as the design on the bag has to meet certain specifications and it still does not, I hope to get something sorted out this week.

Done and Done  the bags are on order which means that I can start taking orders. They will take 6-8 weeks before they arrive from India and I don't have to pay for them until then. I will set up a page over the weekend for anyone who wants to put in an advance order to ensure that they get a bag. (limited to 100, although if they all sell then I will have to put in an order for another 100).

I was thinking that I might make the bags cheaper if people pay by cheque or postal order, that way I don't have to give paypal any cash. I looked at the nocheque thing and that was £50 just to set up, outragous!

Anyway just to let everyone who was interested know.

The only problem is - once we've got these bags, we'll have to go shopping far more often, just to show off the bags...

Equally you can carry your packed lunch in them or allotment produce or swimming kit (101 list forming?). I am not responsible for any increased shopping inccured due to the purchase of said bags

 I go home for lunch and don't need a packed one; I don't have an allotment - my garden is just behind the house; and I've almost given up swimming because the pool is so awful...
