The one thing that strikes me in the publicity photos are - where are all the rest of the 6, 257 odd passengers!
There is very, very little outdoor space really for that amount of people. Not to mention the staff! Oh and all those people looking down at you whilst you're sitting in the 'privacy'
of your balcony.
Yuk!

Re: Everywhere I've never wanted to be
The thought of a cruise leaves me cold - being stuck with a load of strangers for several days
But six and a half thousand of them?
My mother has often expressed the desire to go on a cruise but recently we've had two cruise liners - emergency docked at Invergordon - quarantined with some lurgy. She seems to have gone strangely quiet on the subject

Wow - would never dream of wasting money on such an extravagance but I do love the engineering that goes into ships like this. Just phenomenal. If only the brains, money and effort that went into designing this was directed towards world poverty and saving the planet they would all feel so much better about themselves.

No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery

The thing that crossed my mind, apart from the sickness that GA mentioned, is how ugly it is. At least the QEII was an attractive boat.
However I totally agree with other ISHers (surprize, surprize!) that this would be my idae of hell.
