Tree O'Clock

Post: # 177992Post Mr and Mrs luvpie »

Anyone on here doing this, I intend to send the boys round to the local homebase in the morning to see if they have any trees left.

I just happened to flick over channels and catch it on autumn watch, otherwise I wouldn't have had a clue it was going on, so thought I'd bring it to your attention!

the ever growing luvpie household currently contains, 4 boys, 4 chickens, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 4 fish, an empty tropical fish tank waiting new arrivals, now are we daft to look at our broody hen thinking, if we got some fertilised eggs........

I think mamos might be. I passed on the link from his/her thread to some other people I know, but I haven't heard back from them (incredibly busy people so I don't mind). I have a small corkscrew hazel that I dug up from my front garden that is currently in a big tatty, broken pot. If I can think where else to plant it, I'll do it then. It can't stay in the pot forever and I can't bear to get rid of it, so I'll have to get my thinking cap on.

Yeah i mentioned it here http://www.selfsufficientish.com/forum/ ... 33&t=17083 but got a decidedly luke warm response.

Well I will plant a tree even if it is the "wrong" time of year
