beer made with real hops on the webiste
this will be our first real beer that we make, so far we have made a few batches but using kits
i have had no problem finding other ingredants but am having a bit of trouble over where to buy the yeast from. on the recipe it says to use 20g (1oz) Ale yeast, but i have serched this on google and can only fing 5-6g sachets of yeast.
would the small sachets be alright or if not does anyone know anywere we could buy them from.

what sort of yeast/were to buy from for simple and cheap..

Once again, I don't make beer so I'm no expert in that field. But beer yeast can't be so different from any other, I would have thought. In which case the smaller sachets will be fine. The first thing the yeast does is multiply, so it's very soon going to turn itself into an ounce. If you're at all worried about it, though, use the sachet to make a starter. Put a half-pint of tepid water into a bottle with a teaspoonful of sugar and a couple of drops (no more) of lemon or orange juice. Give it a good shake to dissolve the sugar, then put the yeast in - don't cap the bottle, but you can plug it with a paper towel or some cotton wool. Keep that in a warm place for three or four hours, then use the whole lot in your beer - there'll be at least an ounce of yeast in there by then.
