i have come to this a little late and more than likely arnt understanding the facts properly but the thing that causes me most concern is that at the age when a large no of kids are starting to rebel and buck against the system the system is saying to them if you dont agree whit your parents just go behind their backs and we wont tell them either .that seems v wrong to me.
but on an aside im with you rosie you do what is best for your family and only you and your family know what that is.

My thought exactly - it takes two to tango as it were. HPV is nasty enough in it's own right that the vax should be avallible to guys aswel.
That it could dramatically reduce the risk of cervical cancer would be an added benefit for sensitive and conscientious men.
This is particularly sensible since many of those with HPV are simply carriers and never present symptoms.
