El Cheapo Camera stand

This is an older post on my blog on making an el cheapo camera stand.

It uses recycled port (or other quality Strayan wine) flagon bottles or even plastic bottles and costs very little to make.

Best part is drinking to empty the bottle

Grab a bottle and fill with sand or dirt or rocks or water - who cares, as long as it provides enough ballast to prevent the camera from tipping over



Thread a 1/2" bolt through the lid.



Screw bolt into camera and attach camera to Doc's El Cheapo Camera Stand.



Did I go too fast for anybody

Anyhoo, off to empty some more bottles to see if I can sell the stand in bulk

Cool but a bit heavy to carry around !

Try using a plastic bottle or a small beer bottle.

Should not be a problem then.

Unfortunately cordial comes in plastic bottles here and is nowhere near as much fun to empty
