It's not new, you've probably all seen it before but it's still my favourite photo of my very favourite place - home.

I took this photo a couple of weeks after moving in here at about 7am. I was here alone at that point and went outside with a cup of coffee and a fag to enjoy the stillness and beauty - I had to run back in and get the camera and I'm so glad I did. Even though I see this view out of my living room window many times a day, in all it's many guises, this photo reminds me of the absolute joy I felt at having made the move up here.

This is where I like to sit as there are no flower beds or veggies or anything nearby to stop me from relaxing - I can't sit still if I see a weed or something that needs deadheading! Here it is all wild and I can just watch the life on the pond.

 That's already reduced and I've already posted it on this forum in the past no probs and I have gone and reduced it AGAIN to the required 700 pixels but it still won't post direct - maybe John has reduced the amount of space that photos can take up on the forum????? Oh well you'll have to click on it!

Great to see a photo of the 'floating allotment' but you never told us it was a floating orchard as well!

Ok, I've set up the voting now, one vote each and it will stay open for a week.

In the event of a complete lack of votes or tie etc I'll ask someone else to choose the winners.

Happy voting and thanks for showing your spaces.

This has been a really hard one to vote on as I'd love to be invited to sit and dream in all of your favourite places, but I chose Red's cosy fireside cos I'm SERIOUSLY thinking of lighting my stove I'm so bl**** cold & it's only the 1st of Sept!

Great photos - wish I'd spotted this earlier (not really sure how I missed it to be honest!!) - anyway, I'll try and join in with the next one. Will it be a monthly thing? (even if there are no prizes)
