Mary, why are you supporting your OH's bad diet, to the detriment of your own and possibly his health? I'm not having a go at you, I just think you need to look at what you're both doing.
Graye's right - he's an adult and can make decisions on that basis. But as such he has to take responsibility for his decisions.
That may be financial - if he needs to buy his own food; health - whether fat or thin he could well have high cholesterol levels if he lives on saturated fats (meat) and pies, or whatever.
You need to look after your own health and stop colluding with his bad habits, honey, or he'll never change his diet.
Incidentally, there's no reason for either him, or you to give up pies etc, as long as they're very occasional and you look at portion sizes. Neither of you need to eat salads 3 meals a day, just moderate the less healthy elements of your diet. Surely he wouldn't object to that would he?
