AOL have offered us £50,000

Post: # 16214Post Andy Hamilton »

Quite a strange one this had a phone call this morning from AOL stating that they want to buy selfsufficientish.com for £50 000 (GBP) I said that I would have to consult Dave and the moderators on the forum and get back to them. What should we do?

Well mate, this is one of those times when you gotta ask yourself are you in it for the money - or something else!

Still, it is a lot of cash..............

and it's your work and your money invested in the site...........

and when they ask how you feel, the answer is................conflicted!

I suspect they are only after stopping you publishing that article on growing spaghetti trees.

Sorry folks, I just could not help myself, I had to do something.

Yep indeed an April fool  Mind you I got Emma (OH) to phone up her mother this morning to ask her about her lotto win. Last years one was a bit more imaginative. http://www.selfsufficientish.com/fat.htm In fact I am just going to put it up on the front page.
