I'm keeping her......

Post: # 153286Post JulieSherris »

Yes, that's right, I'm definitely keeping her... and her hubby....

MuddyWitch & Hubby arrived safely in Ireland last night - they totally missed the HUGE garage that I told them to wait at, so I had to go hunting for them.... but it's ok, I found them easily enough & brought them home, where we had tea/coffee... and chatting until the early hours.... Wonderful people!

So I've decided that I'm going to keep them.
The UK can't have them back, it's not allowed - I will puncture their tyres, & lock them in the derelict (well, I would if it had any doors) and keep them here forever

We'll keep you posted as to what sort of week we're having - should be fun!
The more people I meet, the more I like my garden

Sadly Julie let us go...I WANT TO GO BACK!!!

Julie was the perfect hostess & we had a fab week. Her dogs are just as mad as she says if not more so, but they are sooooooo loveable! We met several Plodders and had a fun afternoon on the Wednesday.

We looked at several properties & whilst none were ideal we do now know that the Republic of Ireland is were we want to settle.

The weather was kind to us, till the return ferry was cancelled! This meant we had to leave Julie's place at 4 in the morning & finally got home at 11pm! So today is the first day I've felt human.

Hehe.... well, it's too late for the Bassets... but the black lad is coming round to our way of thiking - new collar works a treat

We now have a proper pumpkin patch  I shifted the cow poo this afternoon & covered with soil then planted the pumpkin, gourd & courgette marrow seeds... shall leave them now & watch from afar......

Had a busy day one way & another, weeded the polyhouse, moved some courgettes outside & watched Mandy have her 5 kitties on Skype!! Awwww!!! MW - we're all relieved - she had THREE black ones - phew!!

Also - we went yesterday to view a house - remember the level crossing outside Ballymoe on the way to Roscommon?? Just along from there up a teeny short cul-de-sac lane is a house...with an upstairs.... looks like Gail will take it  HUGE garden too - magic!

Righto - I have a turkey/veg soup nearly finished, so am off to eat now - bread was made this morning, so I'll see you all after we've stuffed our faces :geek:
The more people I meet, the more I like my garden

We are both (hubby & I) relieved that Puss produced a black & two spares for Leah! Methinks she'd have made her into mittens if they'd all been tabby!

Glad you moved some of your courgettes outside, they'll have room to grow now!;)

With regards to RoI in the words of The Terminator....'I'll be back!'
