any mentorships passing?

Post: # 151748Post faeraemae »

I have a plot and feel guilty about not using it. I want to use it, have seeds etc but just can't get myself out of the house. I will be chucked off soon, quite rightly, but it is lovely whenever I have been. Last year I grew and ate some potatoes, plus some other veg which I did not get around to eating. I don't have a garden so this is my little piece of heaven and I am hoping to make a pond/bog/mini-meadow and grow lots of herbs. Hopefully I will find a mentor or something and get over my quasi-agoraphobia

Hi fae, if you need any sort of advice/tips re your pond/bog garden, i may be able to help. (from a old Hitchin boy!).
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.

Could you speak to the allotment committee about sharing the plot? They might have someone who wants a plot but doesn't have the resources to look after a full one. Having someone to share the burden might help. Or ask around friends and family to see if anyone will give you a hand.

thank you for the replies. I tried sharing but they just let the weeds grow and used my stuff.
I will remember to ask for advise re the bog etc., soon hopefully - hope all's well in beautiful Norfolk!
