Canford Heath Fire, anyone here affected?

Looking at the BBC site I saw the news about this huge Heath fire that needed 170 firemen to get it under control. I know a few on this site are areound that are, is everyone OK? have you had to evacuate or anything?

OMG - how scary and what a dreadful thing to happen.

If it is indeed arson then I hope that the ars...onists are very quickly brought to justice - such a lot of damage.

Hope all in the area are ok.

Canford Heath is where I grew up, this news is devastating

I live near Canford Heath and was lucky enough that my family and I didnt need to evacuate-still really really annoys me that people are so ignorant to the harm they are doin to the people around them and the environment!!

souonds like there was another fire in dorset-Turbury Heath this time-another arson attack! why do these ignoramouses (have no idea if this is a real word!) get away with it! grrr
