Apart from Iromn Maiden and my chemical romance in the last 3 years it's been over 20 years since i was a constant rock gig guru.
Still if the neck is up to it [doubt it] and the hair grows long enough [very much doubt it] then download will see a fair smattering of the old dandruff,lol.

To be honest I'm going as a "security person" for my 19 yr old who's never been to a festival. He wanted to camp in a tent, I booked a travel lodge... age and experience won that one,lol.

Current playlist for a sunday in the garden is

Sulfur Slipknot
Dead Memories Slipknot
So What! Pink
Snuff Slipknot
Psychosocial Slipknot
Gematria (The Killing Name) Slipknot
Vendetta Slipknot
Child Of Burning Time Slipknot
Things My Father Said Black Stone Cherry
Gehenna Slipknot

My son was hoping that Ramstein were going to be the surprise third headliners for the friday slot at download but not to be.

I saw this site http://www.spotify.co.uk on the bbc/click programme t'other week and I've enjoyed trawling through this site for the last 10 days or so. It's a streaming player where you can have free music with the occasional add although I haven't heard any yet or other buy options but one band I came across was shinedown which I really like. Nor quite like ramstein but then how many neo nazi skinhead white supremesist groups do you need, lol.

Mine were;

Gasoline Alley Bred - The Hollies
Everybody Hurts - REM
If I can dream - Elvis
Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve
Forever Young - Bob Dylan
Romeo & Juliet - Dire Straits
Sympathy for the Devil - Rolling Stones
Landslide - Dixie Chicks
The Beast in Me - Nick Lowe
Don't Give Up - Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush

Surely I listen to more modern music than that?, I thought to myself. Not a single track from the 21st century - that list makes me sound like I'm about 76, not 36! So I did the next 10;

One Day Like This - Elbow
The Animal Song - Savage Garden
Pour le monde - Crowded House
Killing Me Softly - Roberta Flack
I Believe (when I fall in love it will be forever) - Stevie Wonder
Silver Lining - Rilo Kiley
Stop - Sam Brown
You Raise Me Up - Westlife
Jackson - Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash
The Way It Is - Nicole Atkins

An improvement - but clearly I like older music!
