Bonjour de Saint Guen, Brittany
Bonjour de freezing cold Brittany !
I'm a rookie gardener determined to be self sufficient from this year and have found your postings about Polytunnels to be inspiring. I have a 10 x 8 ft waiting to be erected when the wind drops and the ground isn't frozen and have been using a super website www.growveg.com to plan my planting beds.
I don't know if any of you remember the very first time you determined to grown your own! It is a very long learning curve and it has taken me hours of planning to get some sort of sense ... what seeds to buy, which to germinate in a propagator, hardening off and potting on ... terms I knew nothing about a month or so ago ! And, of course, what to grow in a Polytunnel !
I'm really enjoying the challenge and very much appreciate all the information from forums such as yours.
If anyone would like to visit Brittany or need any information about life over here, please feel free to have a look at my website: www.brittany-bandb.com. and use the Contact Us information.
I am sure that Spring is just around the corner and I wish you all a very successful and fruitful 2009
Lynn.

Bonjour!!!
We here too, just been hidding!
I think theres a few more too, its just they wont come out from there hide aways, there is a triangle like the one in Bermuda, the one here is formed by Morlaix, Quimper and Pontivy, because of the prices Brits buy property within it, THEN JUST DISAPPEAR!!!! Some are heard of now and again.
Ref: seeds and stuff the French seem to grow different varieties, looking for good potatoe that available over here, the French all produce such small ones.
But good Luck anyway.

Hi Kerlapin and welcome to Ish. Do you keep rabbits or are you just over-run with them?

So what's the rabbit connection then - or is your house or hamlet actually called Kerlapin?
