We had a quiet one - I was suffering from some sort of jet lag type affliction after seeing the MIL off, I think!
Eldest daughter & little Leah came over, had some tea & we watched a bit of TV & didn't do much else - hubby had some wine followed by some bushmills - snored all night - daughter had wine & tried some sloe gin - I stuck to my cups of tea, but had a small glass of sloe gin at midnight....
We got some trees cleared off the garden today & started clearing the gardens from the front - Leah 'helped' with a rake...... then went in to watch kids channels & pulling faces at us lot thru the windows

Popped to the village this evening for a takeaway chinese meal, which means I have my lunch sorted for tomorrow & the 2 younger ones have just left us..... ahhhh, 3 days of garden work to follow..... peace reigns at last!
The only blip on the horizon at the moment is our little cavalier spaniel has had a heart murmur for the last 18 months - his breathing isn't great today - he sounds like a mobile phone on vibrate, so will have to be watched - I'm not sure he'll be here in Spring, but I shall carry on caring for him & hope that when his time comes, it's a peaceful ending. Sad, though.
