Oh, very tempting! I'll have to think about this one and come up with some scenarios...

All part of a weaving circle on the Isle of Skye... never been married, but eleven kids between us...thanks to a very obliging odd-job man named Hamish McMurdo, red of hair and beard, and eye when he's been at our export-only home made mead...

Re: Stalked...
Of course, everyone knows that I wouldn't lower myself to have carnal relations with an odd job man..... and am still virginally intact, as all my 4 kids can testify to......
My sister however has the added comfort of a loft conversion, double glazing, & solar heating - she also has the largest brood - who are instrumental in the world of Ish, a new cult following......
I love my nieces.... if only I could distinguish them from my own children, they all look so similar.... funny that....

Can we add some wee authentic Gaelic phrases?

Two roads diverged in a wood
And I took the one less travelled by
And that has made all the difference.

I'm not too hot on Gaelic, but I'm getting to know a few Celtic ones..... A popular one here in Ireland seems to be 'feck off'......invisiblepiper wrote:Can we add some wee authentic Gaelic phrases?

The stalking lady would certainly get the hint if we used that often!

Of course not Julie, but we know that he is descended from a secret love child of Mary, Queen of Scots, and is noble of bearing, and only ever wears a kilt (ooh, look at how it swishes behind as he passes us by on his way to bagpipe practice) except when he's not wearing his kilt...hem hem...JulieSherris wrote:Of course, everyone knows that I wouldn't lower myself to have carnal relations with an odd job man....

He's only doing odd jobs until the time is right for him to reclaim the throne of Scotland ....
We all have two gifts we should try to use as much as possible - imagination and humour.
Imagination compensates us for what we are not.
A sense of humour consoles us for what we are.
And wisdom tells us not to worry about it!

(I have no idea!)
May be used as a statement of disbelief
What DO your odd job men look like over there?
( and I think 'feck off' may be anglo saxon...........

Just having a thick moment here but if I did set up a separate account surely only friends or friends of friends can see what has been written? Or have I missed something? As you can see - I'm still tempted...

You can make your whole profile public, so the whole world has access - I've limited mine to friends only.Graye wrote:Just having a thick moment here but if I did set up a separate account surely only friends or friends of friends can see what has been written? Once you've made this new profile, invite us all to be your friends...... most of us on the SSish facebook page

I take it you approve of your new relations then?

I love all my relatives! OK, I've set this up. I still can't make the profile totally open but I'll sort that later. Right, let's see who I recognise....
