Re: happy new year
Fortunately the first person I spoke to this morning reminded me that it's New Year... Otherwise it would have just passed me by! Doesn't feel any different today from yesterday.
Well, here's to a good one for all of us.

Re: happy new year
A very happy new year to each and every one of you from me.
We had a very quiet new years eve, spent eating a nice meal and opening some wine. Had planned a 3 course meal but we only managed 2, then we just chilled out for a while, (drinking less than on an average weekend evening, in fact I had one vodka and coke and half a glass of wine!!). We didnt even get around to opening the bottle of homemade elderberry port which was given to use yesterday.
Woke up with no hangover and still money in the purse. ( something that wouldnt have happened if we had gone out!)
Cooked a huge breakfast at about lunchtime and then went to our favourite pub, (just for one). Now back home, having a few drinks and chilling out. Lovely start to the new year.
