anybody know how to separate these two items?
Soph got a hold of my incredibly expensive lipgloss and smeared the whole tube across her ikea cotton duvet cover. I've covered with softsoap as a beginning, but if it stains, how can I deal with this?!
thanks all!

Its either waxy or oily, so try ironing it on blotting paper to soak it up.
Also, try washing up liquid - its made to break down grease and fats.

Is it possible for you to stretch the affected part tightly over a bowl - then pour boiling water onto it CAREFULLY -NO KIDS from a kettle? Works on lipstick. Some detergent works to remove the remains.
