Twas the night before christmas, and.....

Post: # 135412Post Mr and Mrs luvpie »

I've managed to shut the kittens foot in the door, lots of crying (him and me) but thankfully the limp is slightly better this morning, I dread to think how much vets charge today!!!

But it made me review what a bad week I've had so far:-

Rabbit was dropped by son  , resulting in ? breaking her leg - there seems to be abit of a leg thing happening, watch out chickens...

Eldest boys went to their dads and I don't get them back till tonight :( ,

I burnt every single mince pie that I made!

Kittens, prior to me trying to kill one of them obviously, have wrecked the christmas tree, as I went to bed one was seen walking down the hall dragging the tinsel with him,

Mr Luvpie has gone to work, where there were loads of problems yesterday, so I'm not expecting him home for tea,

Mr Luvpie decided that he was sooooo unwell last night that after using everything in the cupboard to help with his cold he did need some cough mixture, the local on call pharmastis was 53.4 miles away so he suffered and slept in the spare room,

Master Luvpie decided that he couldn't sleep, I wouldn't have minded if it was excitement but his not quite 1 yet so hasn't got a clue whats going on, and so had me up from midnight till 5, and is now a grump!

Hey Ho, hope everyone elses day/evening/week went better than mine, I'm now off to try and find remote control which Master Luvpie has hidden somewhere!

OK sorry bout that, crisis nearly over, the kitten has decided given the choice of limping and being caught by Master Luvpie or running properly it has completely forgotten that its foot hurts, Master Luvpie adores musicals so was able to dance round the front room to My Fair Lady with him, ok couldn't hear much of it as he was squealing so much!! He has now decided to throw scrambled eggs all over the floor/kittens and then fall asleep in his highchair, so I've tempted fate and actually managed to cook mincepies and there isn't a burnt crust in site!

I'm off to get a glass of wine, Happy christmas to you all

Ok I've decided that next year we are not celebrating any offical day, in fact I might miss December all together, New Years Eve went well, Master Luvpie turned 1 and had a lovely day, enjoying it fully from 4.30am  the day ended with the elder two determined to stay up till midnight, which they managed, so a great day all round, however........

So far:-
Master Luvpie awake and unhappy (he's got the bug thats been doing the rounds here) 1.30am, 3.14 - 5.20am and then from 7
Kitten pooped on one of the kids beds
Eldest kid wet the bed
Eldest kid remembered that he has some behavioural issues and decided to show them to full force
Master Luvpie realised that he was tired and grumpy so has let everyone know for the last 2 hours before getting to sleep

Boy am I looking forward to my 12 hour night shift tonight!!!!! :sleepy3:
