The site which sells heated mice also sells heated fingerless gloves - bit pointless that one I thought! You can also buy heated mouse pads and the most silly/fun thing to buy is heated furry slippers! Anyway my new mouse is on its way!

I shall try knitting myself some armwarmers i think.

I was on a train, and it was cold, so i had my gloves on, but it didn't matter what i tried, i couldn't type properly, it took me 3 times as long as normal!

I like the heated mouse idea...Might see if i can get one of those for someone for xmas.

My heated mouse arrived - and it heats up very hot! It has a little switch to turn it on or off so I can just warm it up a bit then turn it off. Strangely though it just doesn't seem to get as cold as my old mouse anyway!

I'm having trouble getting used to it though as it is a different kind (doesn't have the ball underneath) and I can't control it very well so when I try to play games or do my daily jigsaw I am useless! Guess I will just have to persevere.

Fee,

My Mum had a pair of Army mitts, there was a slot at about knuckle level on the inside(palm), and you could tuck your fingers in to warm them or flip the top back to have them free for using a gun ( or whatever) Maybe if you tried a pair of those. or cut a slot in regular mitts and hemstitch them-keep closed with velcro maybe?

I can't knit, or I'd whip you up a pair.

HUGS
Lois
