I'm an in - law!!!!

Eek! I am a mother - in - law! Don't feel any different really.
Had a beautiful day with clear sunny skies - in November - not bad.
did lots of things on a self sufficient ish basis - invites, favours, cake, cloak (for bride), walked to the hotel from registry office, friend did the photography, another brought the bride in his old classy car - and even added the ribbon.
All went really well and everyone had a cracking good day!

Now someone mentioned that some annual holiday thing was just 25 days away....................

Congrats, small miracle having good weather! My sister got married in Troon in august (a few years ago now) and the weather was appalling! Wind and torrential rain!

The wedding photo's were all taken inside the hotel with the fire on in the background, looks like a winter wedding, not a summer one!

Sounds like a deliciously simple day - Hubby & I did the deed 10 yrs ago on Wednesday, at Gretna - we had 4 guests who all departed at 7 pm - it was a cheap & cheerful setup & filled with so many wonderful memories.

Wedding number 1 was 27 yrs ago - cost a fortune, seemed strained & plastic, & all too 'perfect' - the marriage was doomed from day one!

I know which one I preferred!!

Now.... onto chrimbo......
