Au-pairing in France

Post: # 131385Post Brij »

I'm intending to go to France when I'm done at uni (July 2009) to au-pair, just thought that maybe if any of you guys (or anyone you know) is looking for an au-pair, you would pass on the message please?

I'm already going through aupair-world.net, but if any of you guys have any tips, that'd be much appreciated.

How rural do you want? I'll ask around. In fact, I'll start by talking to my dear wife, because she has muttered about this in the past.

Well on the agency-style website I'm looking at, I've been searching the Paris area, just because it's a place I know. But as long as my lack of driving licence isn't an issue, it really doesn't matter - I come from the countryside, and I'm used to having to walk/cycle miles to get anywhere, so anywhere would be great!
