My Cycle tour (Bristol to Scotland) can I stay at yours?

We are Notts/Derby border, NG10, you would be more than welcome to come stay + we are on the main route between Notts and Derby so if any other ishers wanted to come visit, it would be fairly easy to get to.

We live in Nottm (about 3 miles from centre) and would be happy to put you up for the evening and feed you (may even be persuaded to pack up sarnies for the day after!). Home from work about 4ish so if you are planning to arrive after that then no probs. Might have to bore you with questions about our allotment in payment though (although I will try and prevent the husband from showiing you all the hours of video diary footage he has taken at the place!)

So - end of October, then! I'm kind of in the middle between Dundee and Aberdeen - a bit off the main road and uphill; you'd be welcome to stay! Aberdeenshire is big - and hilly, as has been mentioned before... Which route are you taking? Unfortunately, anything halfway suitable for bikes is at least twice as long as the nice, straight, not so hilly roads they keep building for cars.

We are 35 miles from Nottingham centre, and would bring you 12 miles off Gainsborough, and about 24 miles south off Scunthorpe. If that's close enough for that particular leg, then we've a reasonably comfy sofa bed for a stop-over.

If your legs are giving out by then, if you want to stay a couple of days extra (lots to do around here), then we're off to Stirling on 31st October for a party, and can put your bike in the boot! Sssshhhhhh, we wouldn't have to tell anyone, would we?

Thank you all so far! It does seem that there are a couple of gaps where I have planed my route, I will have to return to the maps and make see if I can fit seeing as many of you as possible. I will have to work it all out over today and tomorrow and will PM all of you who I will be staying with. Thanks again, it seems like I have to actually do it now!
