We are in Todays Guardian

Post: # 12601Post Andy Hamilton »

If you take a peek at page 4 of the home and garden section of Todays Guardian an article about smallholding in the 21st century you will see a nice little mention at the bottom of this site.

'Tis here:

Quite a nice article.

Don't know how long they leave articles like this up for, but may be worth linking to from the main page.

Just dicovered a statement in there that I don't agree with: "Goats, traditionally favoured by smallholders as a low-maintenance source of healthy milk, are a possibility, but only if you're prepared to accept the loss of every single plant in your garden."

I've still got most of my plants, although some of them pruned rather more vigorously than intended. And goats aren't really all that low maintenance; they can be fussy.

Mmh, I think a reader's letter is coming up.

So far has not made any difference to the stats of the site in fact becoming a stumble upon highly ranked site has done much more. - but a link from their website wont hurt us at all. Did not know about that at all - been showing off about it to everyone that I meet. In fact my parents were down at earlier so made them proud, well nice.

Yes, it's good to see it in a paper like the Guardian, isn't it! Makes the parents believe that not all was wasted on their offspring...

And the article is pretty good, too (apart from the fact that the guy has obviously never kept goats  ).
