It's that last peep where the cat is really close that made us both laugh really loudly.

I used to have a cat who hated the sound of a harmonica... if you played it you'd hear a loud thud upstairs (where she was jumping off the windowsill to come tell you to stop playing) then you'd hear a meow from the top of the stairs and if you carried on playing she would come and jump on your lap and put her nose up to yours and stare at you!

You were a fool if you carried on after that as she'd give you a warning bite... but then somehow seem to get a guilty conscience and lick you better again!

Either that or she'd hide under the bed and wait for my Mom to go and make them hurtling out from beneath and wrapping herself around my Moms leg scaring the bejesus out of her... when we got new beds... we got divans

My cat and I play tag like that sometimes. I'll signal her by peeking around the corner 3 times, the I run away from her, and she chases me and just taps my ankle, then turns around and runs so I can tag her. Its good kitty fun.
