Does anybody know if there's geothermal activity in Britain?
Does anybody know if there is geothermal activity in Britain? I remember many years ago seeing a map on a TV show that depicts the areas of high geothermal activity in UK. I am referring to deep underground hot water springs and the like. I have searched on the net but can't find anything. So I am assuming that there is a map. Can anybody help?

You could try getting in touch with a co. called Raeburn Drilling (based in the Birmingham area),they have been involved in this type of work in recent years.
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.

If I remember rightly there are hot springs at Bath, that's why the Bath baths are there.

Southamton City Council has been heating the Guildhall by geothermal for over 20 years. The machinery is housed in the car park of the Temple of Mammon commonly known as West Quay shopping experience.
