As I already revealed, there is an ish facebook page. And some of us are on there. I have a myspace, and a facebook page, mainly to keep in touch with a few friends from college. It is an easy way of storing photos so they can see, rather than trying to send them, which i am a duffer at doing. I don't poke everyone, jsut those who need it. I hooked up with someone on friends reunited recently I haven't been in touch with for ages, so it does have its uses, but as I am rubbish at keeping in touch with people, these "soundbite" ways of contacting friends suit me rather well.

Yes, I use Facebook all the time to stay in touch with my daughter in the USA, she posts pictures and sometimes pops up for a chat too. Also, when my son was on holiday in Thailand last year he posted lots of pictures for me to see every day, much better than postcards. We use Skype (which also has free phone calls to other subscribers with an internet connection) and MSN too, great for keeping in touch!
Growing old is much better then the alternative!

I use facebook all the time (and am on the ish facebook group too huzzah!), and occasionally myspace. mainly i use myspace to keep track of bands i like. i have stumbleupon too which is great but i dont think i have any friends on there but its a great concept. (basically telling the toolbar which websites you like and then when you press the 'stumble' button it gives you websites it thinks you will like)

That be MySpace if you have Tom as a friend :)

Ah he will learn in time that less is more, I used to be like that with MSN but I only have two people on there now and I hardly speak to them to be honest lol

I don't have the brain power for more than one conversation at the same time it just ends up in embarrassment usually when I say something meant for one person to someone completely different

PBF we are talking about social networking; like friends reunited used to make you pay for but now facebook does it for free. have a look at facebook, they can explain it better than me hahaha!!!

I'm on facebook. PM me or contact me through the Ish page. let me know who you are though please 'cos I keep a tight grip on my security settings.

I've always considered Ish and NEEPS my social networking sites... Met more "live" people through them than any other way! Just now I'm off to Shetland to meet up with another two.

Really can't see what the fuss is about the other sites - don't think they could offer me anything that what I already use can't.
