How to bulk buy Ecover?
I hope to club together with a friend and club together to bulk buy some ecover stuff.
A quick google brings up some supplers but I wondered if anyone (Shirlz?) had any good contacts.
I guess we could have about £50 worth of order.
Rob - if you see this would you like to join in too?

We bought some large Ecover containers from Wiggly Wigglers. The bottles come with postage labels so you can send them back when they're empty and get them refilled.
They're not weeds - that's a habitat for wildlife, don't you know?

I get mine from the Neeps food co-op - we buy from Suma, or you could try Green City as they are not far from you.
We've got Neeps members from the Fife area and we've talked about having various distribution points - north, south and west of where I am in Aberdeenshire. I can certainly let you know our prices if you are interested.

I get 5l bottles from grassroots in Glasgow, they refill them too. There must be somewhere in Edinburgh that you can get them? we always have enough in a regular sized bottle to see us through till we can make it up to Glasgow.

Re: How to bulk buy Ecover?
Thanks all.
There is a place more local than Edinburgh but they have stopped doing refills and their prices have just rocketed. There's other reasons why I won't use them but they are not for here....
I personally planned on buying 5l of laundry liquid and 5l of washing up liquid and filling my existing bottles. I would probably have bought one or two others - we use their cream cleaner for the Rayburn for instance.
Ethicalsuperstore.com are doing free delivery atm and this is what spurred me on. Their 5l laundry is about £16, or £4.80 for 1.5l. I am sure I saw a 1.5l bottle in the Co-op today for £3.84! Could this be right? Perhaps I am going doo-lally!

Re: How to bulk buy Ecover?
T***o are charging
£3.37 for 1.5l laundry
£1.62 for 1l washing up liquid
Sainsburgs
£3.86 for 1.5 laundry liquid
£1.69 for 1l washing up liquid
maybe it is best to check out Sumas prices first, but it sounds crazy to buy refills if they are more expensive than going to a supermarket (current climate, and all)

Same here. Also, if I add the cost of getting there, it's suddenly not quite so cheap anymore. OK, I have to go to our SUMA meet location, too - but that's my main "social" for the month as well!Thurston Garden wrote:I would not even P on them if they were on fire though!
I bought a 25 ltr washing liquid when it was on special offer at SUMA. It's always worth looking out for those occasions.
