hey river nene do my area! I'll discuss with the husband.

is there any way we can choose what's in the box though? I'm worried that one week we'll end up with a cauliflower, some beetroot and not eat them.

shows the area they cover
Tried it and guess what........... nope! It seems we live in a black hole where nothing decent wants to go!

Out of interest A@@a deliver in this area, so we did a "fantasy" shop of the same stuff as came in our box. It came out at about £5 cheaper - but then we had to add £5 for the delivery charge! On the up side there is more of a choice available and we can choose what we want to buy, but part of the point of the exercise was to buy locally produced organic food rather than organic from anywhere, as well as supporting local businesses rather than huge companies. It seems we just can't win! Lordy I want to move to a civilised place!

Where on earth do you live?!?! I have a friend in the North East (Middlesbrough) who is spoiled for choice on box schemes & farmer's markets! I reckon you should gang together with a neighbour or two to see if you can get someone to deliver out to you.

I don't think Eden Farms (who are in Lincolnshire) used to deliver out this far but they have widened their reach over the years and have a weekly run to supply lots of people in Nottinghamshire at once. I know they drop off boxes for collection -by people who are either in inaccessible areas or prefer not to have a box delivered to their own house - at a local veggie deli/shop (Screaming Carrot). Would this be an option for you?

Lol! It might as well be the moon! We are about 25 miles from the Scottish border on the coast. There is a veg box scheme that delivers to the nearest town (8 miles away) but I have no-one there that I could have it delivered to so I could pick up. THe only other box scheme delivers to a town/village north west of here - but that's about 20 miles away.
This really is a dead and alive hole!

Well I reckon your only option is to move then! Just kidding, but it does make me realise I'm lucky and spoilt for choice here. Work on the veg box scheme who deliver to the nearest town, make it worth their while to deliver to you I reckon. Good luck x

I sooooo want to move! I may have lived here all my life but right now the Netherlands, Italy or France sound very tempting!
