Gasmen- not a rant lol!

Post: # 112779Post mrsflibble »

the gas main is aparently a bugger to get out, so gas men are providing me with a free electric hotplate and some electric heaters (hmmm, ebay if I'm feeling mercenary?! local church if I'm in a "pay it forward" kinda mood? I already have three from when we moved in and the whole condemned boiler fiasco happened) which I don't have to return. woot!
I was quite happy to cope with the camping cooker, kettle and microwave but if they's giving something free, I's gonna take it lol.
aparently they have to do it as some government directive about quality of life.

they've also been incredibly polite.

James is still on nights until thurs 7am, but he seems to be coping. the diggers are far too much for sophie to cope with right now but it seems to be breaking her of her mid day nap; it's far too interesting to sleep when you've got diggers outside your house lol!
oh how I love my tea, tea in the afternoon. I can't do without it, and I think I'll have another cup very

Well I looked on ebay at prices for BNIB two ring cookers and they're ok I suppose. then I slept on it, had a crisis on conscience and decided to give it to someone who needs it. I'm going to place an ad in my local church buletin next month 'cos mercenary as I'd like to be, I just can't do it.

they work really well though!!

gas works still continuing so sophie wont be getting her swimming lesson today; thankfully she'sm not realised it's swimming day.

appologies for dodgier than normal typing but i cut my finger, have no plasters I'm not allergic to (plenty of fabric ones though ) and so i have a clean scrap of cotton round my finger. argh.

'cos I can't get a lot for it and I'd feel eve more guilty.
although doing that would enable me to give the cash to the place that mentally "fixed" me for £3 a week. goodly charitable cause that is (WHCM Bridge, basildon).

requires more thinking.
