hello everyone

Post: # 111775Post cathmath »

Hello there everyone in self sufficiency syberspace - liked the alliteration.
Would describe myself as a sort of dulux hint of green rather than a proper green person, whatever they be.

Does growing some spuds, and a few herbs count as being green? Well its a start. Also got some elderflower wine fermenting so hopefully a few legless evenings await me at the end of the year. PS Is it possible to describe yourself as Welsh British or Scottish on the registration page. This might be me opening a can of worms!
Love all the ideas, this is a great forum
byee nos da everyone

Hi Cathmath :thumbright:

Every little counts - that's the whole idea. As far as I know, you should be able to register as being from anywhere - Timbuktoo, if you like.

Welcome Cathmath

I am one of the Canadians, away over on the West coast of Canada.

I started small with my garden and now have a whopping 3000 sq.ft. of it

Keep growing spuds, they're a good staple crop, try some squash if you've got room, you didn't say if you're in a house or a flat or what.

I'm on one acre, which is why the garden got so big.

I also have 1 sm. donkey, 1 sm. horse, 2 :cat: :cat: and about 16 chickens.

 Lois

hello I'm SploT aka leslie and yes I'm a girl. My mother couldn't spell and I guess my father was short sighted! So I'm stuck with the name.

I have a dog ... 2nd hand (who recently found a peach stone in the garden and the next time I saw it it was in the vets hands when he handed me the £500 bill!).
2 cats ....... both 2nd hand and both think they are human.
A teenager who thinks hard work is getting out of bed.

I recycle as much as I can. Recently taken on a house which I have lived in while it has been replumbed/rewired/central heating/double glazing put in and walls knocked down. I still have no curtains or carpets but the vegetable patch is set up!

That's me :flower:

A highly original start - hiding yourself away in someone else's introduction
