Time for an introduction

Post: # 110042Post KrisWW »

I've been wandering around this site for a while, so I thought I'd make it official and sign up and say hello.

I'm Kris, I live just south of Doncaster and I've been semi-self-sufficient-ish for year. I've got a big garden and an allotment, five chooks, a partner who shoots and brings home all the bag that the other guns don't want to keep (who knew there were so many ways to cook a pheasant?) and four children, who do their best to eat me out of house and home.

We also have two guinea pigs, who's only contribution is to the compost heap, and a couple of dogs - one old man and one young pup...

I've just set some elderflower cordial and elderflower wine on the go, using recipes found on this site :) Shall report back on the results in a wee while.

Hiya Kris, glad you've decided to de-lurk!

Love your website - no, no, no - I'm not allowed any more wool! (I've got a suitcase full at home... )
