I'm not a complete veggie so would I be allowed to peak?

good idea, there does seem to be a fair few veggies on here. I have looked at a few veggie sites, but they all seem quite clicky, where as this place has a good friendly vibe to it.

i'd be interested

Great idea!

There do seem to be lots of veggies and vegans, but what's great is that they are not holier than thou ... which you get on some other forums.

Minesapint (of what? wine?? voddy??) .... may I suggest you post this in the what's in your pot section ... Not many people seem to look in this section very often. I never look in this section normally, TCM pointed it out to me. Maybe it could be a sub-section in the What's in your pot bit?

Yeah, this is a grand plan! It'll make the veggie stuff much easier to find!

We discussed it and felt that it would lead to the 'cooking' section being split further and further, making it less usable and less friendly. We like the simplicity of having just one cooking area.

What about if we try to include vege, vegan, Gluten free, etc in the subject line when we are posting?

Hope that explains it guys

Poisonally speaking, as we have one to-the-core veggie in the house, one who can never make his mind up and three slavering carnivores, I've got quite nifty at adapting and splitting recipes, so a recipe doesn't need to be officially veggie for it to be useful for veggies, or vice versa. Obviously allergies will be more tricky, and from what I've seen people often do add gluten/egg/wheat free in the subject line so that obviously is a good idea and works well for people.

Has that contributed anything whatsoever to the debate?!

I think that as long as things are clearly subjected, then a veggie board is unneccesary. I've seen far too much flaming of semi-veggies/those looking for advice/those who are not vegan for my liking and i don't want the same happening here!
