There is a letter in the Ashbourne News Telegraph asking for all those interested in having an allotment in Ashbourne, to write to the local council (I have done this for years, but hopefully if we all write in together we can make a difference).
So, if they do let us.... how do we set up an allotment?
Thanks

Never had an allotment myself as we've always had enough space in the garden but you might find this link helpful. It also has further links to the allotment society and so on.

I was just going to suggest Hugh F-W's River Cottage Spring series! I'm currently watching them on 4OD because I never manage to be around/bother to turn the TV on for a Wednesday night!
Good luck!
