oh no what now

Post: # 106241Post mrsflibble »

After about 9 months of fixing the washer weekly and bodging it back together it's finally gone to the whitegoods centre in the sky.
We are off to the second hand centre in Tilbury tomorrow 'cos there's no washers in the Yellow Advertiser or Basildon Recorder this week.
It's where our freezer came from, and i'll also be hunting for a bike. That could be slightly harder as I want a traditional shape, not mountain bike and I only have a 26" inside leg, so I need a child's bike .

I'm assuming you've tried your local Freecycle/Realcycle for both?

Tonight I scored a wheel-less wheelbarrow from our local Realcycle

Good luck!

my local freecycle has become anightmare; unless you are online at 8am you don't get nowt, and the mod doesn't care so i have given up on it!

I left our local Freecycle for a number of reasons. The more caring moderators formed a Realcycle. Its worth looking to see if you have one of those I guess.

Another idea is if you have any charity shops which sell furniture & white goods - usually they are bigger stores which just sell those items rather than clothes & books etc.
