Look it would be nice if a lot of you would push your rain north east please. I've been on the hose pipe for weeks on end on the allotment and will have to do it again today - bank holiday and it isn't raining :?

Did you have to ask?! You seem to have reminded it! It's been raining for nearly 48 hours here...on and off...but mostly on...

Bank holiday? What bank holiday? This seems to have been a selective bank holiday... At least we didn't have one at work. And we desperately need rain, so I'm really not all that pleased with yet more sun.

We've had every bodies rain for the last three weeks - it must be the wettest May on record!!

Still, I've never seen the gardens looking so green....it is purty.

It's finally raining here - first time in six weeks, I think.

It's forecast for tomorrow - but we've had the forecast many times, and it never came to more than a few minutes of thin drizzle...

It's been here for the last six weeks and this morning it has not stopped since 6 am, and now I have boot up, see if I can find my southwester and drain the pool of 3ins of YOUR bloody rain :angryfire: :tongue2:

We have been so desperate for rain that yesterday I actually purchased a hose-pipe. Guess what the weather's like today.

Here too but I left the washing on the line last night (all white towels of course) and today it's absolutely filthy!
Thought it must have blown into the field, then accused OH of dragging it throught the mud but it's actually filthy dirty rain - never seen anything like it!

Light rain at the moment - keep fingers crossed it'll stay that way for a while. :?

It was supposed to be light rain yesterday here up north which could explain why we were using our hose pipes on the allotments. It managed two ineffective outbreaks. Today it seems to be doing a proper job!

So I'm having a whole day off - every time I say I will have one I have still ended up at the allotment for at least an hour and a half.

Fourth day of sporadic heavy showers here in Nottingham :( Hate to moan about it but water butt was full after the 1st day of it, and it meant that the Green Festival on Sunday was a wash-out :( Just when I think its brightening up we have another downpour!

Oh well, it has to brighten up sometime!
