Re: Rhubarb - what am I doing wrong?
OK, I just figured it was dead because it's gone all brown and shrivelly, I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens. Thanks guys, appreciate your advice

Re: Rhubarb - what am I doing wrong?
I planted it about 3 weeks ago. I'm kind of new to all this and am going by books which said to plant it out by the end of Feb. Am kind of winging it (no change there then). I bow to all of your superior knowledge...

Rhubarb - what am I doing wrong?
My rhubarb is dead. It had a nice freshly composted home and now it's dead. What am I doing wrong? the weather has been less than clement recently, wet and frosty alternately, could this have killed it? I thought it liked the cold and that it was virtually unkillable? Am completely stumped, please h...

Onion help please
My plot is currently sprouting onions that I planted last year but didn't grow. To be honest I couldn't even find the sets when I came to harvest them last year so I figured they'd been eaten. Now they're growing all over the place, except in the part I've earmarked for onions this year. So my quest...

Re: Whats age got to do with it???
It's all relative, just because my birth certificate says I'm 30, doesn't mean I have to feel it. OK so today I feel about 306 thanks to a heavy night and very little sleep, most of the time I go between 16 and 50 depending on who I'm with. I loved my 30th, had a great time at a family BBQ, everyone...

Sadly, at 30 I knew I was past it when I told my daughter to eat her crusts or she would never have curly hair. Ah the lies passed from our own parents. Also I don't enjoy having a skirt up my ass anymore, and really enjoy bedtime. How sad am I?

It's gorgeous here too, just about to put my towels on the line and attempt to tidy up the wreckage left by the snow. It's nice to have some sun again!!

Re: had a wonderful old year
Ooo I like this kind of thread. Let's see what happened: My cousin had a beautiful baby girl; I turned 30 and had the greatest night ever (and possibly the worst morning after...) My daughter continued to grow and blossom; My husband finally got a job he feels fulfilled in; Stopped taking the anti-d...

Re: PSB and snow?
I have to admit to being truly amazed that my broccoli has (seemingly) survived the snow!!! It has receeded enough now to see the ground and the broccoli is green and standing up and healthy looking. I thought it was a gonner, am continually amazed by how hardy this stuff is year after year!! I real...
