Re: HELP - what can I plant now?

The kohl rabi is quite a good one to sow as the pests don't seem to like it much. The slugs and snails have a nibble but the cabbage white butterflies and flea beetle don't seem to like it much. It tastes like a mild swede/neep and grows quite quickly. If you plant it now, you could be eating them ...

I've asked what they will feed her and they've told me she will have whatever we are having but liquidised etc. My son asked if I will just cook a little extra when I'm making our food, liquidi...

Re: Sorting out a severely burnt pan

Re: Eco dating

Why do you need a specifically eco site ? There must be lots of like minded people out there on regular sites that could be picked out by their profile. I met my OH on a general friendship site and we are pretty eco! my answer to this is, there are alot of players/time wasters about, and ...

Re: cheap greenhouses

It's not exactly the same but I've just brought one of these: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7201981/Trail/searchtext%3EGREENHOUSE.htm Mainly because I can't afford a real green house, my back garden doesn't have the room and I'm in rented accomodation so this is small and transpo...
