haha i like that!! yeah why not :lol: went down this morning for a couple of hours and dug the green manure in one of the beds....ready for when it warms alittle and can plant seedling out...love going down there when i can (have 2 nippers under 18mths so cant get down everyday!) bring on the lighte...

thanks guys...thats what i thought...just wanted to make sure that i wasnt being stupid if i said they didnt cause the flooding! i think i'll just keep my head down and my "bum" in the air...rather than get into an argument with them and make things worse I do have some friends at the allo...

Raised beds and problem people

I have an allotment in the dorset area and have put raised beds on it as there is a problem with flooding....we are in talks with the council to try and sort the drainage out.... It has come to my attention that someone at the allotments has been going around saying that my raised beds are the CAUSE...

My parents were looking to re-do one of their wildlife ponds in the garden and wanted to know of anywhere that they could buy puddling clay in dorset-sto make it more natural...any ideas??? :flower:

did Countryside Management (bout 10yrs ago now) :shock:
Parkstone is quite a nice place to live-prefer it to Bournemouth-maybe im just getting old hehe

Oh to have snow! if we get as much as half an inch - people dont come to work! Id be straight down the allotment doing a spot of clanging the frost bitten earth! if not id be wrapped up warm and out with the dog

I live near Canford Heath and was lucky enough that my family and I didnt need to evacuate-still really really annoys me that people are so ignorant to the harm they are doin to the people around them and the environment!!
