Re: An odd experience....
Really bloody annoying what business is it of his where you live anyway if you were happy to travel? They're probably really disorganised and would have always been wanting you to drop everything and go in at 5 mins' notice. You've probably had a lucky escape ;-)

Just saying hello again - I used to post a bit but I've been away for quite a while. So, hello, I'm Susie, I live/ work in Cambridge, I'm fairly rubbish at being ish but always aspiring to be better ;-), and everyone on this site was always so helpful and inspiring when I posted before. So, nice to ...

Re: F-f-f-facebook
I've boycotted facebook for ages partly because of the whole privacy thing and partly because our computer was too slow to work with it. I've suddenly found myself on a fast computer so I'm wondering if it's worth taking the plunge again - should I grit my teeth and go for it? I can't decide. This i...

Re: Veganism not an option any more
(Before anybody gets on their high horse about how dreadful we vegans are, as i can hear it coming, it always does: I have never been smug, or told other people they shouldn't eat whatever. I complement people on their meat cooking from the look and smell, cook fish for my bf and bought non-vegan f...

Re: weight loss 2013
I'v not been doing well, i keep eating too much when im trying to fast then it all goes out the window. Demi, I really don't want this to come across as mean or unhelpful, but: you've said in past threads you've got a history of eating disorders which I can't remember if you said you'd recovered fr...

Re: weight loss 2013
When I cut the booze, which is probably the only way I'll ever lose weight,I just can't bloody sleep. I'm the other way - it's why I hardly drink, I just can't face the insomnia. That doesn't help you, sorry, but I know a friend of mine had your problem, I think he used to take valerian - I know tha...

Re: weight loss 2013
I have also signed myself up to run a 5K fun-run in July for Parkinson's UK, as my MIL was diagnosed last year. Believe me, I am NOT a lover of exercise (other than the outdoorsy walking and gardening type), and I'm certainly no jogger; and I could do with a group like this to kick me up the bottom...

Re: Fight obesity like tobacco
but I do know MMM that a lady living in the UK at this point in time, who has recently dieted to get into a 16 dress size, comes on here to read nice gardening stuff, would be mortified to find people saying that a 16 is really a 20, and they should get real and accept they are still FAT. Does that...
