Hi mew,
I've got a couple you can have if you like - my hens hated them and actively avoided sitting on or near them!! If you want them, pm me your address and you can either send me stamps to cover postage or we could swap for veggie seeds or something like that?

Just a thought - could you blow a regular egg and refill it with sand or the like?

I had a marble egg that I picked up in a charity shop for a few pence. It was perfect size and VERY heavy.
So where on earth has it gone???? It was definitely in the nest box the other day and now it has disappeared. Has one of the chooks eaten it? I've cleaned out all the bedding and it's not there. There's a step of about 4 inches over the pop hole threshold so none of the chooks could have kicked it out of the door surely? Anyway I've cleaned out the run and it's not there either.
