allotment update sat 3 dec

wow its time to get ready for christmas, we have done our windows tree lights and lights in windows,ok i went to me allotment todayi dont believe it been frozen for a week or so now its wet i have picked some leeks even if they are medium ish wow me and the mrs were so surprised how they smell diffrent to shop bought . i sowed som aquadulce broad beans two weeks and 3 days i cant see them through yet they are a good winter hardy crop they say 2 weeks to germination i wonder how much longer after that to see them poking through?. its so great to see very little weed growth that week of frost had done those blighters!!!! and the leeks taste better after a frost i am told.if you can give me any advice on the broad bean thing that would be good .
