Help, what is this plant?

Hi

I do have this rather daft habit of planting seeds from things into a big pot that my 5 year old chilli plant sits in, which is on my kitchen window sill from October to May before living outside for the growing season. I usually put the seedlings into pots once they can be moved. Its amazing they always grow and very quickly. The best one is a melon seed that sat in the bottom of the fridge for a week before I found it and planted it.

My problem is (apart from always having the need to plant any seed I find) I cant remember what the below is. Any ideas?

Thanks

Are you talking strictly vegetable seeds, or flowering plants too? (and trees and shrubs?)

Cos my vote goes for a flowering plant!

I think it's a Marguerite daisy.

Mmmmm I didnt think it was a flower although a Marguerite daisy would be OK. It is sort of like one. I usually only plant things I can eat.

I have been racking my brains for weeks but I really cant remember.

Thanks for trying.

The chili plant it grew from the base of was in fact sat next to a margeurite daisy all summer, so it is probably did fall in. I bring it into the kitchen each autumn. The plant did not sprout until April, still a bit confused why it did not grow over winter in the warm but at least I am not going mad as I usually remember all the things I pop into the side of the pot.

Thanks all
