I'll run away and hide... :pale: :pale: :pale:

I've always seen him as a bit of a clown.

From one barmy crackpot to another ...

(at least Boris is amusing)...

But seriously, 'he' (or his advisors) do have some interesting policies such as offering financial rewards for recyclers rather than forcing recycling through fining, charging and taxing...

The Tories are on the rise. Can Gordon Brown turn the tables? A good scrap ahead.

I think it may be one the funniest things to happen in politics for years - and at least you can tell that Boris is human.

I'm sure Boris will have plenty of 'advisors' to keep him 'on message'!

Did the news say an 80% turnout? If so, that's impressive! Wish we could have the same turn out for the general election.

Turnout was 45%, a great turnout for a local election. The count was delayed because the large vote.

Who gets to vote for the Mayor? Because I have a postal vote for the borough of Merton and I've not yet in the two years since I registered for it, have been sent anything for any local elections (if any have happened that is in that borough).

I would have liked to vote for Boris!

Don't underestimate Boris! The Tories need him to be a successful Mayor to carry their charge towards the next election. I am sure he will surprise many with his good attitude.

Ah well, that is always a possibility, of course. Time will tell.
