Studied up on eco clothing. I'd no idea cotton was such a bad idea.

I got my book 2 days ago!!! woohoo!! Tis great guys!!

I havn't "done" anything yet (apart form bore all my friends by saying "ooohh!! look! What a good idea!!!" and Alex by saying "oh look! you could do this on your boat, why don't you plant this??"...) but I'm loving the herbs in tyres idea and the advice on companion veg is great (have already told the girls I'm living with next year that the tiny bit of earth is mine for veg, and I'm adopting the windowsill..)!

Also, tomorrow I'm going to buy clingfilm to sort out my draughty window by my pooter here!!

Cheers guys!!

Started off a bucket of your highly recommended nettle fertilizer. Nettles used to bug me big time, but after a sucessful batch of nettle beer last year :drunken: and now this, I'm warming to them (a bit).

It inspired my hubby to make jam!

I'm in the process of brewing the coffee wine and loads more I want to do out of your book. I'm taking it to work tomorrow to show my work mates although the veg season thing doesn't apply to us here in NZ.

I am now using re-usables on Shortie and wee wipes for me (can't remember if the book covers wee wipes actually)

It is a really inspiring book
