Hi All

i have dandelions / daisys and a few other weeds the grow on the lawn not lots only a few, at times they do bring the lawn into a bit of colour.

my question is when i cut the lawn the weeds get a trim as well as the grass, and end up in the same bucket, is this ok to put into my compost bin?

cheers.

As long as you do it before the weeds have set seed, you'd be fine!

Daisies aren't a weed they are boootiful :flower:

I would like someone to develop a lawnmower that leaves the daisies but cuts the grass (and the dandylions) :dave:

Oh I would love some daisies! This is the first time in my life I am living somewhere that doesn't have daisies in the lawn.

All our grass clippings go in the compost, dandelion seed heads and all. If you hoe your veg plot and weed your flower beds you shouldn't have a problem. After all the dandelion seeds float around in the air anyway!
