Hi
I'd like to invite anyone living in the West Wales area, or any brave souls willing to travel, to come to a "soap-box-tastic" food debate in Aberystwyth, at the Morlan Centre, on Saturday the 5th April from 1-4pm. We will have speakers from a Permaculture course leader, Freedom Foods, Organic Centre Wales, and are hoping for the Dyfi Seed Savers, a local food procurement officer and lots of other people who have important things to say about local, sustainable and/or organic food. Speakers will get the "soapbox" for 5 - 10 minutes, and there will be public debate about how we should go forwards.
As well as the speakers, there will be stalls from local producers and the farmers' market will be on down the street. Children will also be catered for, so bring them along too!
Entrance is free, and you can call in at any point in the afternoon, hope to see some of you there!
