Calling all Chicken Keepers in/around Wharfedale

I have thought of starting an informal chicken keepers 'club', to meet one a month with the following aims:
Network for local contacts for feed, breeds, fertile eggs, etc.
Potential for bulk buying of feed to cut costs?
Mutual support/advice, etc.
